Bowman is grandstanding.
The problem with Democrats like Bowman is that the only solution he believes there is to protect innocent people in active shooter incidents is to ban guns.
This is a simplistic if-then solution and won't address the problem at all. It doesn't address why people want to harm and kill others. It would also punish law abiding citizens, responsible gun owners, and people who have a right to protect themselves from criminals.
The problem isn't guns...its the growing population of unstable people seeking to kill and do harm to others. But that's a much more complex problem to solve and will require a solution that doesn't fit the black / white political narratives that dominate American politics.

WSNJ: “Let poors die” sorry I forgot I grew up in a household with only one person employed and neither of those people having a collage education. Also I don’t know the income of my liberal friends on this site but I doubt they are Joe Manchin rich, and I also doubt they want the Build Back Better Plan blocked. Maybe JUST MAYBE they disagree with you on some things in the bill and that’s okay, just because they have a certain world view does not mean they endorse the most extreme and out of this world effects of not passing the bill you have conjured
You care about the poors so much ur a Republican, the party known for helping the disadvantaged (Circa 1910-24)
My point is disagreements on the bill at this point is doing the bad thing. The bil has already been watered down, anything less than this would be the equivalent of running someone over then giving them a Spongebob Band-aid.
