Thanks so much for the kind words. I've added a decent amount in the past, but in the past half decade haven't been worth much here - life happens (a single father of four daughters about to turn 52 22 years into a double organ transplant doesn't always find time for everything they want!).

Randy set up a great site here. Folks like IndyGeorgia and RBH have done a ton of work. Folks like them and others such as yourself really keep this site going.

Yes, a political science and history double major. My interests and votes have been rather eccentric and over the board. I voted for Yang yesterday (my candidates, Messam and Sestak were already gone), and my daughter Teresa has been for Yang since day one, so voted for him (my Mom did the same for me voting for Bush over Reagan in 1980).

Thanks again, and I'll quit rambling for now.

I just head through the grapevine that Thomas Walker has had some fairly serious health problems of late. I didn't hear what they have been, but he was in the hospital for a spell. At the point of my information, TW was recuperating at home.

Wow! I hadn't heard. TW was a superb student of elections. He was also working on a biography of Alton Parker, the only major party nominee for US President without an official biography. His taste in candidates was a little eclectic, meaning that he had avenues for working with people across the entire spectrum. I will miss him a lot.

I remember Thomas from my first stint on the site, about a decade ago. A presence then, as he is even now, in his absence, on account what he's done here. That his many contributions live on in the OC archives is of some comforting solace.
