Second incarnation of the five-party Progressive Pact of Ibiza dissolved in 2006. New formation was launched in 2023 on the June 9th deadline to register new formations ahead of national elections planned for July 23, 2023. Formation is anchored by four parties; the Socialist Party of the Balearic Islands (PSIB–PSOE); the Unite Movement (SMR), the United Left of Ibiza (EU) and Now Ibiza (Ara Eivissa). Formation contesting for seats in the Senate is called the Eivissa and Formentera al Senat [also known as Pacte Progressista (PP)].
