DescriptionRight-of-center, culturally conservative party founded as the Belang van Nederland (Interest in the Netherlands) in 2021, and renamed BVNL/Van Haga Group on August 28, 2023. Party was founded by engineer and Haarlem MP Wybren van Haga after his expulsion from the VVD in 2019. Group consists of former members of the Forum for Democracy (FvD) who switched in August 2021. Party supports downsizing government bureaucracy and lifting 'cradle-to-grave' control over the public [BVNL/Groep Van Haga (BVNL)].
