| Description | The County of Augusta is a political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Virginia administered by a seven member Board of Supervisors elected by magisterial district for four-year, staggered terms. The Board of Supervisors elects one of its own to serve as Chairman and selects a County Administrator to oversee the general administration of the County of Augusta.
The County is divided into seven magisterial districts with Board members elected from each district. The Board of Supervisors meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. |
