MOUNTRAIL re-created from WARD with different boundaries from MOUNTRAIL eliminated in 1892. Vote authorizing re-creation passed 4207 to 4024 in election of 3 Nov 1908. Litigation delayed enactment until 16 Jan 1909 when N. Dak. Sup. Ct. upheld vote.
