| Description |
This riding, in southeastern BC, is partly in the Columbia River-Shuswap Regional District and partly in the East Kootenay Regional District.
It includes Kimberley, Revelstoke, Columbia, Invermere and Golden as well as Columbia Lake IR3 and Shuswap IR.
The economy is based on forestry, saw mills, mining and some agriculture.
Tourism comes from Hamber Provincial Park in the far north through the hot springs resorts of Radium and Fairmont to historic Fort Steele in the south.
In 2008 redistribution, kept 99% of the riding.
