The Village of Bloomingdale is a home-rule municipality operating under a Village President, Board of Trustees, and Village Administrator form of government. The Village is located in DuPage County, Illinois, approximately twenty-five miles west of the City of Chicago. A full range of municipal services is provided by the Village including police, public works, community development, water and sewer utilities, community events, and other general government activities.
Standing Committee of the Whole (SCOW) meetings of the Village Board and Regular meetings of the Village Board are held on the second and fourth Monday of each month. All meetings are open to the public. SCOW meetings start at 6:00 PM, followed by the Village Board meetings at 7:00 PM in the Village Hall Council Room, 201 S.
