Info | The Democratic candidate running to be the Harrisburg-Area’s next State Representative, Jesse Monoski, is a Cumberland County native with over a decade of combined local and state government experience.
He is married to his grade-school sweetheart, Sydney, and they are blessed with two young daughters (Jordan & Lainey).
Jesse has a winning record as a four-time elected Democratic Committeeman and Councilman in Lemoyne Borough, where on Council he has proudly:
1. Led the passage of Council’s first ever Statewide LGBTQ+ Protections Resolution.
2. Defeated the I-83 Bridge Toll Plan.
3. Advocated for safer pedestrian & traffic planning on dangerous local streets.
4. Funded projects to restore local waterways.
5. Negotiated four consecutive budgets without raising property taxes.
As an Executive Director and longtime staffer for the Pennsylvania Senate Democratic Caucus, Jesse has served as a policy specialist and advisor, advocating and drafting legislation that benefits the people of our Commonwealth, including laws which:
1. Protect abortion rights for Pennsylvanians.
2. Defend our LGBTQ+ friends & family from discrimination.
3. Safeguard our voting rights.
4. Fairly fund our public schools.
5. Eliminate property taxes for Pennsylvania seniors.
