| Info | Mr. Munn, a Northern California native, grew up on a family farm near the San Joaquin Valley town of Orosi. Mr. Munn has been the President of the Yolo County School Boards Association, the Chairperson of the Yolo County Republican Central Committee, and was an elected member of the Davis School Board from 1997 to 2001. A strong advocate of fiscal responsibility, candidate Munn looks to steer California away from the large increases in spending it has seen in recent years toward a smaller and more efficient government.
A soil and water scientist with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, Mr. Munn graduated from the University of California, Davis with degrees in Soil and Water Science as well as Engineering. He then went on to obtain a Master of Science degree in Soil Science. Mr. Munn has been married to his wife Shelley for 30 years. They have 3 children.
