Representative Bob Robson and his wife, Dawna, reside in Chandler and have two school-age children. They own a successful small business (insurance/financial services) and are active in their community. Bob has represented the people of the Southeast Valley at the Arizona Legislature since January 2001. He was appointed to the most prestigious and influential legislative committees, Vice Chairman of the House Rules Committee and Member of the House Appropriations Committee during his first term. He served on the Chandler City Council from 1992-2000, and was elected by his peers as theVice Mayor. Bob Robson?s desire to develop a sustained and healthy economy led to his membership on the Greater Phoenix Economic Council Strategic Policy Committee. Robson has also served on the Planning and Zoning Commission and on the Neighborhood Preservation and Revitalization Study Committee.

Bob has been deeply involved with Kiwanis for over 20 years and also has been of service to the Salvation Army, is founding Member of the Chandler Boys & Girls Club, Past President of the Chandler Kiwanis Club, Airport Commission Sport Commission, and a Maricopa Community College Teacher.

Representative Bob Robson won his election in November 2002 and due to the redistricting, now represents District 20. He is currently the Speaker Pro Tempore at the House of Representatives and is a Member of the House Financial Institutions and Insurance Committee, the Judiciary Committee, and the Rules Committee.

Bob feels that the budget and public safety are the top responsibilities of state government. He has a proven record of support for public safety officers. He also feels that investment in the education of our children is the fundamental key for success for the future of our civilization.

Bob has a Master of Arts Degree and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York.
