Info | Ryan Call provides legal counsel and strategic advice to a broad range of corporations and trade associations, tax-exempt non-profits and advocacy organizations, political party committees, candidate and political action committees, and individuals.
Mr. Call helps clients achieve their political objectives while navigating the challenges associated with Section 501(c) and Section 527 non-profit entity formation, application for recognition of tax-exempt and charitable status, corporate governance, and compliance with Internal Revenue Service and Federal Election Commission regulations, in addition to the extensive campaign finance, disclosure, lobbying, and ethics rules that apply at the federal, state and local levels. His unique experience and relationships help organizations and individuals manage risks, overcome obstacles, and take advantage of opportunities at the place where politics, business, law and public policy meet.
Mr. Call is a member of the Colorado Secretary of State’s Advisory Panels on Election Law and Campaign Finance and Lobbyist Regulation, and the Colorado Lawyer’s Committee Election Law Task Force. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Denver County Republican Party. In addition to his membership in the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations, Mr. Call is an active member of the Denver Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Federalist Society and the Republican National Lawyer’s Association.
Mr. Call received his J.D. from the University of Denver in 2005, and his M.B.A. in finance and organizational management and B.A. degrees from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Mr. Call served previously as a member of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law Alumni Council, as a Commissioner appointed by Governor Bill Owens to the Colorado Access to Justice Commission, as the National Co-Chairman of the College Republican National Committee and as a legislative aide in the Colorado General Assembly.
Mr. Call joined Hale Westfall in 2009. Prior to joining Hale Westfall he served as In-House Counsel and Political Director for the Colorado Republican Party during the 2008 election.
