Info | Beth's background in government and the arts as the City of Calgary Manager of Arts and Culture allows her to connect directly with people and communities. She has done extensive community liaison work with a wide range of partners. Previous to joining the City of Calgary, Beth was employed by the City of Mississauga. She was the Manager of Arts and held a variety of other positions with the City of Mississauga.
Beth is a specialist in community development and project management with a real enthusiasm for new ventures. She has facilitated the development of many strategic plans for a wide variety of community-based not for profit organizations.
In 2006, Beth was appointed Chair of the Creative City Network of Canada (CCNC) and has guided the Board of Directors through a sustainability planning framework that will establish a renewed way of serving both the community of practice interest in municipalities but will also serve the wider community of interest.
