Description |
State Representative Scott Brown is the "official" GOP choice in this primary, with 2002 nominee Earl Sholley claming his strong finish in 2002 entitles him to a shot at an open seat.
Mitt Romney has stepped in to endorse Brown, which is unusual -- the State GOP seldom, if ever, steps into such primaries. All stops are being pulled to maximize GOP chances at the seat.
