Info | State Representative Margaret Conditt was appointed to the Ohio House of Representatives on June 8, 2011 to fill a position vacated by now Senator Bill Coley. She represents the 55th District, which includes West Chester, Liberty Township, Monroe, and parts of Middletown in Butler County.
Prior to joining the Ohio House, Representative Conditt worked as a Procter and Gamble manager for 22 years. During her career, Dr. Conditt worked in the Food, Paper and Pharmaceutical Divisions, as well as in Corporate Environmental Safety and technical external relations. Her work with P&G provided her with a valuable perspective on the impact of government regulations upon innovation and business growth in a free market.
Staying active with her community, Representative Conditt served as a trustee of Liberty Township from 1998-2001 and has been involved in numerous activities with her church, St Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Parish in Liberty Township. She has served on the board of Catholic Charities of Southwest Ohio, has been a campus minister at Northern Kentucky University, and is a jail chaplain for the women incarcerated in the local county jail. She is also a citizenship merit badge counselor for the Dan Beard Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
Representative Conditt earned her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Alabama, and her Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the University of Colorado.
Representative Conditt and her husband, Dave Bruno, reside in Liberty Township and have two grown children and one granddaughter.
