InfoRep. Sherman Parker, a Republican, represents part of St. Charles County (District 12) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was first elected to the House in November 2002 and re-elected in 2004.

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Parker is a member of the executive staff of UniGroup, Inc., the parent company of United Van Lines, Mayflower and other subsidiaries which support the worldwide operations of these two leading household goods transportation companies. Rep. Parker also served as field representative for both Senators Bond and Ashcroft, coordinating local media relations and representing the senators in the St. Louis metropolitan area and 17 counties in Northeast Missouri. From 1999-2001, Rep. Parker served as then-Congressman Jim Talent’s special assistant, communicating to constituents the congressman’s policies and positions on a broad range of issues in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Rep. Parker also served as special assistant for the Talent for Senate Campaign in 2002.

Rep. Parker received a Bachelor of Arts degree in North and South American history and political science from the University of Vermont. During his junior year he attended the St. Louis University in Madrid, Spain.

Born August 28, 1971, in St. Louis, Rep. Parker resides in St. Charles.
