Description | Alan Greenspan took office June 19, 2004, for a fifth term as Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. Chairman's term is for four (4) years.
However Greenspan's 14 year term as a member is set to expire on January 31, 2006. He cannot be reappointed. As such his Chairmanship will expire with his membership. |
