| Description | Far left party which seeks to install Marxism and the 'classless state' through gradualism and peaceful 'democratic revolution' using the Eduard Bernstein model (who called in 1898 for a revision of Marxism that would allow an evolutionary socialism). Rødt was formed by the 2007 merger of the Red Electoral Alliance and the Workers' Communist Party. It takes particular issue with what it calls Forskjells-Norge (the wage or class gap in Norway [Link] and uses this as a national party theme. Party is led by Oslo MP Bjørnar Moxnes (and Rødt's sole member in the Storting) since 2012. |
