| Description | Centrist "technocrat" movement co-founded and co-lead by former Finance and Social Welfare Minister Milojko Spajić and former Economy Minister Jakov Milatović. Movement sought to emulate the successful and sudden rise of Bulgaria's "We Continue the Change" party, also launched by former finance ministers and economists in Bulgaria on April 15, 2022. Movement supports an average 'basic' salary of 1,000 euros, a minimum pension of 450 euros and a zero unemployment rate. Party also contends that Montenegro's integration within the European Union will force out systemic corruption. Movement 'partnered' with the Peace is Our Nation (MjNN) movement in late 2022. Co-Chair Jakov Milatović became President of Montenegro on May 20, 2023 after winning a presidential run-off on April 2, 2023 [Покрет Европа сад; Pokret Evropa sad! (ES)]. |
