Bondi and Gelber debate their debates

| Description | The Dan Gelber campaign is calling out Republican opponent Pam Bondi for being unwilling to participate in debates in the race to become Florida’s next attorney general.
Bondi turned down an invitation to participate in a televised debate that was scheduled for Oct. 5 at the University of Florida, citing a “scheduling conflict.”
Gelber has accepted seven invitations to go head to head with Bondi but she is planning to participate in just two debates, Bondi’s spokeswoman Sandi Copes said Wednesday. Those debates will be on Oct. 16, hosted by Bay News 9/Central Florida News 13, and on either Oct. 21 or 28, hosted by Univision, according to the campaigns.
