| Description | MANCHESTER, N.H. -- Former House Speaker Marshall Cobleigh passed away this weekend. He was 78.
Cobleigh, a Republican from Manchester, served as speaker from 1969 to 1972 and was an early champion of the state's presidential primary, helping to keep Nevada and Florida from competing with the Granite State.
Cobleigh died Saturday at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston following a lengthy illness. |
