| Description | The mayoral election in Raleigh is less than a week away but as far as the fundraising race is concerned, incumbent Charles Meeker is ahead of the game.
Meeker raised more than twice as much as challenger John Odom.
Campaign finance documents show Meeker has raised about $234,000, compared with Odom's $106,000.
Meeker has also spent twice as much as Odom.
