Voight considers asking for recount [WI Treasurer]

State Treasurer Jack Voight said Wednesday he would not concede his Election Day re-election race as he contemplates whether to ask for a recount.
Voight, an Appleton Republican, was defeated by Democratic challenger Dawn Marie Sass.
With all 3,597 precincts in the state reporting, Sass had 969,115 votes to Voight's 960,467. Libertarian candidate Tim Peterson had 59,541 votes and Green Party candidate Winston Sephus had 57,063 votes. |
