DescriptionVancouver-Point Grey takes in the most western part of Vancouver.

English Bay and Fraser River form three of the boundaries. The eastern border is Arbutus Street/West 16th Avenue/eastern boundary of Pacific Spirit Regional Park.

It covers West Point Grey, Kitsilano and University Endowment Lands.

It includes the University of British Columbia (UBC) and its golf course, Camosun Bog, and the beaches and parks along English Bay.

The riding includes spacious homes on large lots, rental suites in heritage homes and condos.

In the 2006 census, 53.4% of residents had university degrees, the highest in British Columbia. The average family income was the fourth highest in B.C.

Rental dwellings, 51%, exceeded owned dwellings, 49%.

The visible minority population was 26%.

In the 2008 redistribution, kept 92% of the riding.
