Description | This new riding contains area in the western part of Surrey.
It runs between 24th Avenue in the south and 64th Avenue/Highway 99A/72nd Avenue in the north; between the Surrey/Delta border, 120th Street, in the west and Highway 99/152nd Street/Highway 10/156th Street/64th Avenue/152nd Street in the east; Mud Bay, an environmentally sensitive tidal marsh area, is in the southwest part of the riding.
In the 2006 census, the immigrant population was 33%; the visible minority population was 38%; 28% of which was South Asian.
The riding of Surrey-Panorama was created in the 2008 redistribution from: 57% Surrey-Panorama Ridge; 20% Surrey-Cloverdale; 4% Surrey-White Rock. |
