Paul M. Brislin served on the Montague Township Committee from 2006 to 2019. Prior to that he served on the Committee from 1998 to 2001. He re-election by three votes in the 2018 republican primary. He ran a write in campaign in the general election receiving only 109 votes. In 2019 he ran again in the republican primary, narrowly losing to incumbent Committeeman Richard Innella by 37 votes.
Since his departure from the Committee, Brislin was elected to the Montague Board of Education and was sworn in on January 1, 2020.
