InfoDominique Boyer was born on August 17, 1971, in Sainte-Anne-des-Lacs, in the heart of the Laurentides region. At the age of 15, Ms. Boyer left her community to take a six-month English immersion course in Windsor, Ontario.

Ms. Boyer continued her education at the Saint-Jérôme Cégep and at the Collège André-Grasset. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in political science from Montreal University in 1993. She is currently completing a specialized program in constitutional law at the Law Faculty of the University of Montreal. She completed an investment training program at the Montreal Stock Exchange in 1990. She also studied accounting management in 1994 at the École des Hautes Études Commerciales.

Presently, she is sales director for the Quebec region with one of Canada’s leading companies in the area of construction materials.

She is a member of the general assembly of the Agence du bassin versant de la rivière du Nord, an environmental association concerned about the quality of waterways in our region. She is also a member of the young leaders circle of the Council on Canadian Unity.

Ms. Boyer is currently regional president of the Liberal Party of Canada in the Laurentides region. She is also an active member of the Laurentides Liberal Association and a founding member of the Association of Liberal Women in the same riding. She was also the Liberal candidate in the Laurentides riding for the 2000 general election.
