My mission statement is to ensure quality education by highly qualified educators,resources for both teachers and students, keeping Music, Art, Physical Education, and Computers in our K-8 students' schedules, as well as appointing highly qualified school board members. A strong emphasis on Math, Science, Writing, should also continue to grow and continue to be cultivated .

Mrs. DiStefano is excited to return to Boca Raton Christian School where she previously taught from 1989-2000. During the hiatus, she taught high school English at Westminster Academy in Ft. Lauderdale. She holds a B.A. in English from Gannon University and a MEd from Florida Atlantic University. She holds membership in Phi Kappa Phi and Kappa Delta Pi honor fraternities and the National Council of Teachers of English. She is listed in the Who's Who of American Teachers and was named Teacher of the Year (1997) by the Boca Raton Rotary Society. Her two grown children, Guy and Blythe, are graduates of BRCS. She and her husband Bob live in Boca Raton and enjoy traveling, having most recently visited Israel on a summer missions trip. Raising orchids, reading, and searching for the perfect cole slaw recipe are other interests!
