| Info | Maxwell Coolidge, 27, is one of three candidates seeking the Republican nomination for House District 41.
A cook and small business owner, Coolidge lives in Orland with his wife, Jennifer, and their two sons. An avid gardener, he raises flowers and vegetables for area restaurants. He and his wife own and operate Coastal Coffee in Searsport.
Coolidge holds a bachelor’s degree in human ecology from College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor and spent one year as a graduate student at Bangor Theological Seminary.
Coolidge said he considers himself part of the conservative movements and would stand up for what they believe in.
He says the next legislature’s priorities should be strengthening the economy, making health care more available and affordable, moving toward energy independence and improving the state’s business climate.
“I believe that a program of conservative, free-market reforms will strengthen Maine’s families and Maine’s economy and put us on track for a prosperous, sustainable future,” he said.
