Looks like the SOS site calendar is updated far enough in the future that I can confirm for 2026:
Filing deadline will be May 8
Primary election will be Aug 4

The pickup function isn't seemingly working as it does for containers when I tried. It appears that a separate container for the GLC got created that only contains this and after being moved the containers for it and Paddington should be OK to be deleted.

I reused this profile that had been a misspelling and entered by mistake way back when, if someone would kindly remove the speculative race at right so it doesn't appear bizarre.

Saw this fella in the 2024 race and sounded familiar; I think it's the same guy? [Link]
I could see going from lush locks to a buzzcut sooner than from a liberal to a communist, but IIRC he was just a Kremlin stalking horse back then and for all I've kept up on could just reinvent for whatever they need him to be at the moment.

This is the same person as Maggie Fries from the 1990 NY AG campaign. She is seeking endorsement from an org I'm involved with for her AL legislature campaign and made mention of previously running in 1990 and for a local office upstate in 1987.
