DD214: This article is incorrect and has been taken down by the East Valley Tribune who is the copyright owner and original publisher of the story. This article is a copyright infringement and needs to be removed and deindexed. It is nothing more than an unsubstantiated allegations of an unfulfilled intention.
There are millions of things you can be concerned about, but you are concerned about a story that was published 17 years ago.

NYC's last "Quasi-Bolshevist" (Really Democratic Socialist) mayor is borderline universally regarded as the greatest mayor in not just NYC History, but also in American History.
Seems to me like that's the PERFECT model to use for running a City

IndyGeorgia: This might be one of those unique races where we can include same-party general election endorsements (i.e. Dems for Mamdani). What are peoples' thoughts?
I can definitely see the argument. At the very least, if there are Democrats who endorsed Cuomo in the primary but are endorsing Mamdani in the general, I think it makes sense to list the Mamdani endorsement here so long as Cuomo is still in the race against him.
More generally, I think it might be worth waiting a little bit to see where the bulk of Democratic Party elected officials etc end up breaking. If it gets to August or September and they're still largely supporting Mamdani then it seems reasonable to follow normal site policy. But if there is a big split in the Democratic Party, then showing who is endorsing whom does seem reasonable to me

Hard to for me to see how he has relevance to any of the majority of Iranians who were born after his investiture in 1980 and are the generations born after the Iranian revolution. Also its not like life was great for a majority of Iranians still in Iran that remember rule under the Shah. For those that life was great (royalists and wealthy Jews), they mostly left Iran for major western cities - including Los Angeles and New York.
He's been pushing for a Parliamentary Monarchy similar to the UK. And a more western focused Iran. Just my opinion, but that seems to be on the least likely outcome if there is a change of leadership in Iran.
But to answer you directly - googled this 2023 "Son of Iran’s last shah arrives in Israel to push for ‘peaceful, prosperous future’"

I think, and I probably should have made the recommendation before in the About Site section, is that all silly races on candidate pages should be grouped at the bottom (like the dropped out races) for situations like this and the actual candidates placed in imaginary races.

I do not believe it is appropriate at this time to remove Raffensperger from races on this site. I understand that there are at least multiple users on this site who are part of the group who pushed this initiative, but I do not think this site should promote that given the fact that Georgia law (O.C.G.A. § 21-2-153(b)) does not seem to mesh with this party resolution as well as the fact that the party chair does not seem to be going along with this effort. If qualifying rolls around next year, Raffensperger tries to qualify, and litigation ensues, that is just dandy. Lawyers need things to do. In the meantime, I have added an article to note that this is something to consider, but I would suggest we not reflect something when we're just trying to show who might run for something.
Disclaimer: I am not Brad Raffensperger, I don't know Brad Raffensperger, and I almost always question that I spelled Brad Raffensperger's name correctly when typing it out.
