RP, I hope you know how much people love this site. You put a lot of resources into OC and you deal with a lot, but it is a true gem. Let's keep building!

All three are underdogs, that's for sure. I think Esteves has good communication skills and policy chops, and in a weird train of thought, I actually think he has a better shot in the general running and beating Keisha Lance Bottoms in a primary rather than running unopposed. He needs to get his name out there and show his skills to have any shot of winning the general election. Plus beating the former Mayor of Atlanta has to show you're not just an "Atlanta politician" (a still potent attack line in Georgia).

I hear you, and that would make it simpler, but I think it would obscure the fact that all these men are part of the College as a body and people may want to see all the members of the College. I think this is less an honor like a medal and more like an office. Appreciate your suggestion, though!

If I was thinking of adding the College of Cardinals, would it be okay to use a format similar to that of the UK House of Lords (individual races)? I don't know if I can draw a distinction between orders of cardinals as well as cardinal electors vs. non cardinal electors.
I am also not Catholic, so if any users are and have particular thoughts, please let me know.
I would work backwards, starting with the most recent consistory.

Joe Kasper, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s chief of staff will leave his role in the coming days for a new position at the agency, according to a senior administration official, amid a week of turmoil for the Pentagon.
Senior adviser Dan Caldwell, Hegseth deputy chief of staff Darin Selnick and Colin Carroll, the chief of staff to Deputy Defense Secretary Stephen Feinberg, were placed on leave this week in an ongoing leak probe.
All three were terminated on Friday, according to three people familiar with the matter, who, like others, were granted anonymity to discuss a sensitive issue. [Link]
