The headquarters of the Florida National Guard/State Defenses of Florida actually is in St. Augustine.

Louisiana does something similar, the Louisiana Supreme Court is out of New Orleans....in the French Quarter, even as the capital is Baton Rouge.

Per Proctor's book, the main reason why Tallahassee won was so much money was invested already

But today, for example, the Florida Real Estate Commission holds its meetings in Orlando....and actually Orlando would be close to dead center from Perdido Key to Key West, that is the shape of the state

The source I have has the first primary votes for Broward and Davis, not Davis or Brown, does list the counties they carried

I have done the Democratic runoff for this race and am about to do the primary, the source being a book on Broward.

Can someone fold the primary and runoff into the main race?

I need this page, I would like to have one candidate page reflect all, but I am new to editing these files, is there anyone who can walk me through this?

Filed as a candidate in FL State House 002 at this time as a Democrat

I apparently now can create candidates, I first created the page for my grandfather's race from 1974

The issue is, I am trying to be totally honest, because I prefiled deliberately in two federal races in 2019 and a number of local races in Florida and had 4,605 votes counted for me on Nov 3 and the thing is, I maintain Childers lacked the minimum valid signatures, and I should have been sworn in, doubt that will happen, now filed as a Dem in Fl House 2 (state house) for 2022.

I am totally new to this, and this race is getting the most responses so new to this, I figure someone who knows what they are doing, can tell me....I do apologize...notably though my grandfather was a Bensonhurst native

Having said that, I need someone with moderator ability to help me develop my own campaign page.

I need it to note that I filed with the FEC for FL-1 and AL Senate Class II for 2020, but ran for neither and need to be in "did not run"

I filed in Escambia County to run for Property Appraiser as a Republican in 2019, ultimately dropped that as had no local party support, Chris Jones is a Democrat, held the office since 1997

I filed for Sheriff, intending to primary Chip Simmons, it was that filing I switched to Circuit Clerk, as a Republican, could not raise the fee so I filed as a write in, in Florida to even have votes counted you have to be "qualified"

I also prefiled as a candidate for Mayor of Pensacola for 2022 but Pensacola requires a year's residency in the city prior to qualifying, I could see I wouldn't make that and I'd rather go to Tallahassee anyway.

I realize this is convoluted, I am new to this, it is not my intent to spam, when I saw I had the ability the first priority I had this morning was my grandfather's race from 1974.

Also do you have to go from father to get to grandfather on a candidate?

The other thing, for Andre Bienvenue Roman, Governor of Louisiana in the database from 1830-1834, 1838-1842, his wife Aimee Parant Roman was second cousins with Sarah Hollinger Owen, the wife of George Washington Owen (in this database as George W. Owen), elected three times to the Southern District from Alabama in the 1820s, he died in office as Mayor of Mobile, Alabama in 1837.

I apologize to everyone, I literally just discovered I have this ability this morning, I am new, you all who can once were new too, so please bear with me

But if someone can answer my questions I'd be grateful.

And I am sorry if this is seen as clutter, it is not my intent.

How do I remove "Republican primary winner"

I actually prefiled for this race for the Republican primary, had intended to try and challenge as a Democrat to get on the November ballot but Florida has a 1 year rule, that you have to be in a party to run on its ballot as a major party candidate.

I was unable to raise the qualifying fee so was a qualified write in, and in Florida only votes for qualified candidates are counted. I have maintained Childers did not have the minimum valid signatures (she chose signature petition rather than qualifying fee) but that has come to naught so I have prefiled in FL House of Rep 2 as a Democrat, as you can verify with Florida DOS.

But I am new to candidate creation, and I was trying to use Childers, and make her GOP nominee, as she was in 2016, she was not an NPA but was unchallenged.

And if a race didn't yield a primary, but someone filed and did not run, how do I note that?

How do I get the 1974 runoff to show up on the "races" section?

They have yet to create the 2022 thing for Florida House District 2.

I was added to the active candidate list at Florida DOS today.

I would like to go ahead and be created as a candidate for it and write my own biography for it.

Also in doing that, I want Alabama House 104 from 174 to have the Democratic runoff added, where my grandfather Joseph M. Romagnano Sr won 2889 votes against Doug Johnstone who had 3880, and also, if ya'll have noted Paralyzed Veterans of America Presidents anywhere, that he had that from 1978-1980.

Also, I had prequalified or otherwise ran or filed for a number of offices, I will note that, and I also, where some profiles list who all they have endorsed, voted for in the past, I wish to submit that information for mine too, as well as a photo, but mainly a candidate bio.

I am figuring out how to make an announcement in the paper but I'd like it to be on this site at least

I can't create candidate pages yet so I need one to create one for my grandfather. He was the man Douglas Johnstone beat in the Democratic runoff for Alabama House 104 in 1974. I would like the picture from this article to be used [Link] I can provide a full bio if necessary. Johnstone won the runoff 3880 to 2889 for Romagnano. My grandfather was President of the Paralyzed Veterans of America from 1978-1980. He became VP in 1976, executive VP? in 1977. He is the only organization wide "Chaplain" PVA has ever had. I think this when combined with my Senate candidacy makes him worthy of inclusion. Also, my mother's third cousin was F. David Mathews, who served in President Ford's cabinet.

IndyGeorgia, while I have you here because I don't know if it'll get responded to elsewise

My grandfather ran for AL House 104 in 1974 and lost in the Democratic runoff against Johnstone. He would later serve as president of the Paralyzed Veterans of America 1978-1980. I'd like to update that to at least put the runoff in there. Can you help with that.

Oh it'll be a while before I have a website and by a while I mean not today but hopefully by mid-August. It's sort of like when Frank Boykin ran for Congress in 1935 he had to pay 14 years of back poll taxes but once he was in the game he stole the show. Same principle here.

As for Tuberville. Tuberville is not big on specifics. He's not a policy wonk and that's what I bring to the race. That and I realize the demographics of the primaries have changed and I am willing to reach out openly to parts of the Republican primary electorate others won't and honestly, second place getting in the runoff it could shock everyone how low that percentage ends up being

I have filed with the FEC to run for this seat

I am working on getting a professional picture done right now. I'd like to write my own bio if at all possible but new members are not permitted to do this

I just signed up and apparently I cannot upload things at this time (when will I be able to?)

My grandfather, Joe Romagnano, ran for the Democratic nomination for this seat in 1974 and lost to Mr. Johnstone in the runoff 3880 to 2893. I would like to write a bio for him as he later was very active in the Paralyzed Veterans of America, serving as president of the entire national organization for two terms in the 1970s, having previously held Vice-Presidencies, and was also the only chaplain of the national organization in its history
