Last Incandescent: A lightbulb-related take on Wayne Cochran/The Cavaliers/Pearl Jam's "Last Kiss"

Oh where, oh where, could my lightbulbs be?
The DEMs took them away from me.
Obummer took them, so I got to stockpile
So I can see my lightbulb when I leave this room.

The big hand of socialism came down far
Heard it from my pal at the bar
There on the farm, up straight ahead
The chickens were out, the tractor was dead
I got scared, so I swerved to the right
Tea Party supporter with all my might
In the chicken coop efficiency test,
CFLs come in dead last.

Oh where, oh where, could my lightbulbs be?
The DEMs took them away from me.
Obummer took them, so I got to stockpile
So I can see my lightbulb when I leave this room.

When I woke up, anger was pouring out
Rent-a-mobs standing all around
Fear of change rollin' through my brain
Raceist DEMs are such a pain
I talk to them, they look at me and say
"Vote for Landrieu, just do it for me."
I hold them close, I try to talk some sense
But their love for CFLs is too dense
My bulbs are dwindling, though I hold them tight
Those swirly ones are not alright.

Oh where, oh where, could my lightbulbs be?
The DEMs took them away from me.
Obummer took them, so I got to stockpile
So I can see my lightbulb when I leave this room.
