| Description | Albanian minority interests party launched by MP and former BESA party founder and leader Afrim Gashi. Party began as Albanian Alternative, then was rebranded "AlternAtivA" on March 9, 2019 in an effort to muddle its conspicuousness as an Albanian ethnic party. Party's main priority is to "redefine the state" to rid it of separatist and ethnic conflict "so that all differences are squared off and the state is cohesive and inclusive." Party had joined the SDSM-led government coalition formed on May 12, 2019 but saw its cabinet members replaced on February 28, 2023 without explanation. Party holds four seats in the Macedonian Assembly and is established in the opposition [Autentik Autokton Autonom'. AlternAtivA (AAA)]. |
