Description | Argentina's largest opposition coalition until it broke apart after anchor coalition member Republican Proposal (PRO) partnered with Javier Milei's La Libertad Avanza (LLA) after general elections held in Argentina on October 22, 2023. Coalition's ambit fell to the center and center-right, with ideological support for Federal Peronism and Menemism (acolytes of ex President Carlos Menem). The coalition's main anchors were the Radical Civic Union (Unión Cívica Radical, UCR), Mauricio Macri's Republican Proposal and the ARI Civic Coalition (Coalición Cívica). Coalition began as the Cambiemos (Let's Change) alliance, which was launched on June 15, 2015 with the purpose of supporting the election of Mauricio Macri as Argentina's President (December 10, 2015 to December 10, 2019). Cambiemos dissolved on June 12, 2019. Juntos por el Cambio was co-led by the chiefs of the six national parties which made up the coalition [Together for Change (JxC)]. |
