Far-left party conceived in 2011 from the Frenadeso social movement. Party was led by Fernando Cebamanos. Party dissolved itself once before in 2014 after disastrous results in the ballot box nationally, but gave itself another chance, reemerging in 2018 ahead of elections held in May 2019. Party did far worse, however, in 2019 than it did in 2014 and dissolved itself for good on July 25, 2019 [Frente Amplio por la Democracia (Panamá) FAD].
