Minor youth-focused party with high ambitions founded by Chas Mijnals, a former member of the "Group of 16," 16 sergeants who launched a coup on February 25, 1980 led by future dictator Desi Bouterse (aka, the Sergeants' coup; Sergeantencoup). Using his bona fides as one of these 16 government leaders, Mijnals promoted with much fanfare the idea of realizing the "Surinamese Dream" by 2025, the 50th anniversary of Suriname's independence. Mijnals, with allies Grace Boldewijn and Alan Ambrose, produced and mass-distributed glossy material on the theme of "permanent prosperity" for Surinamese. The material contained step-by-step guides on economic growth and quality of life. Party failed to make a dent but aims to finally ride to success before Mijnals' 78th birthday by joining the five-party OPTSU Alliance, which is running in elections planned for May 25, 2025 [Permanente Voorspoed Republiek Suriname (PVRS)].
