Description | A Libertarian candidate who sought the same congressional seat as incumbents Betty Sutton and Jim Renacci has decided to drop his longshot bid for office.
When Blevins sought a congressional seat in 2010, he got nearly seven percent of the vote. Renacci won that race with 52 percent. The incumbent Democratic congressman he defeated, John Boccieri of Alliance, got 41 percent. A poll that Sutton's campaign released last month showed Blevins with 12 percent support this year. |
