Description ColoradoPols, a left-wing blog, called GOP U.S. Senate nominee Ken Buck’s appearance at defeated Democratic primary candidate Andrew Romanoff’s debt retirement/birthday party “classless.”

The Denver Post said Buck “crashe[d]” Romanoff’s party, with donation in hand for the former state house speaker, causing quite a stir among “hostile” Romanoff supporters.

One problem: Buck was invited by the Romanoff campaign.

In audio of the phone message featured exclusively by Battle ‘10, Buck received an invitation from campaign organizers to attend Thursday’s event. The invite came from Romanoff’s cousin, to be exact, who closed by saying, “I wish you luck in your race.”
