| Description | Democratic gubernatorial candidate Alex Sink on Friday challenged Republican candidate Rick Scott to five debates before November's election, but, for now, it's unclear how that proposal will play out.
Speaking to reporters at a statewide conference of Realtors in Orlando, Scott said, "I clearly believe we ought to debate," but he said he had "no idea" how many would be appropriate and stopped just short of accepting Sink's suggestion.
In the primary election, Scott declined to appear for any statewide televised debates.
