| Description | Former Vice President Dick Cheney, who has had five heart attacks in 32 years, was admitted to a Washington hospital for tests on Friday after he felt ill, according to a statement issued by his office.
Cheney, who was vice president under President George W. Bush, did not feel well and went to his doctors' offices, the statement said.
"On the advice of his physicians, he was admitted to the (George Washington University) hospital for further testing. He is expected to remain in the hospital over the weekend," according to the statement. |
