Henry Hamilton "Ham" Hutchinson, a former physician to Govs. George and Lurleen Wallace and a past president of the Alabama Medical Association, died Wednesday at a Montgomery hospital. He was 84.
The heart specialist opened his practice in Montgomery in 1952 after serving as a medical officer in World War II and the Korean War. He became chief of staff at St. Margaret's Hospital and the first medical director of its Life Flight helicopter ambulance program. |
