| Description | Iowa Sen. Charles Grassley said Wednesday he still cannot recall why he opposed Sonia Sotomayor's confirmation to a federal appeals court judgeship 11 years ago, even after searching the Congressional Record for answers.
Grassley expressed frustration with not being able to recall the reason for his opposition to Sotomayor in 1998. He will have a chance to tell her in person Monday when the two meet to discuss her nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court. |
