| Description | Former California Attorney General Dan Lungren, who served for a decade as a Long Beach area congressman, announced his candidacy for a Northern California congressional seat on Tuesday.
"It's a job I know well,' said Lungren, the Republican nominee for governor in 1998 who lost to Gray Davis.
Lungren has spent the last 4-1/2 years hosting a radio talk show and practicing law in Washington, D.C.
