"The plate that Barack Obama used to eat waffles in a Scranton diner on Monday morning has been put on sale on eBay by a Hillary Clinton supporter. You can buy this unique piece of campaign memorabilia here. Current highest bid is $76.00. You can tell the seller “dixpea” is not an Obama fan – he refers to him as “Barak Hussein Obama”.
This morning, Obama finally spoke to the press in Pamela’s P & G diner in Pittsburgh – though only a small group of pool journalists. When asked why he wasn’t eating waffles, he replied: “Why he didn't order waffles this morning. Because they say their pancakes were the best.” He later elaborated: “These really were maybe the best pancakes that I’ve tasted in a very long time. If you guys have time, get some take out. You don’t even need syrup on them. They’ve got this crispy edges. They are just outstanding. Yeah, they are really good.”
Maybe the pancake plate will be on sale tomorrow. But here’s the sales pitch for the waffle plate: “THIS IS BARAK HUSSEIN OBAMA'S BREAKFAST FROM THIS MORNING, 4-21-08 AT THE GLIDER DINER IN SCRANTON, PA.
