DescriptionAn ailing Lieutenant Governor Win Rockefeller (R) quietly flew back to Arkansas and was immediately hospitalized there in "grave" condition, following a second failed bone marrow transplant procedure in Seattle. Rockefeller suffers from myeloproliferative disorder, which is related to leukemia. Until Rockefeller withdrew last year from the 2006 race for Governor due to health reasons, polls showed he was a frontrunner for the open seat. According to published reports, Rockefeller is in the intensive care unit at the University of Arkansas under an assumed name, suffering from pneumonia and other life-threatening complications following his recent chemotherapy procedures. Well-connected sources in Arkansas told Politics1 Rockefeller only has "days to live."
