| Description | Next year when Louisiana residents spring forward, like they did Sunday, they would not fall back the following autumn if a bill that advanced in the Legislature Monday becomes law.
Making Louisiana the only state in the nation on permanent daylight-saving time is an idea the Legislature has considered and rebuffed. But it’s an idea whose time has come, said Rep. Pete Schneider, R-Slidell.
