Description | U.S. Sen. Barack Obama (D-Il.) hedged Thursday on whether he plans to support Mayor Daley for re-election in 2007 in light of the corruption investigations making their way up the food chain at City Hall.
After appearing with Daley and others to tout $25 million in federal funding toward the reconstruction of the north-south leg of Wacker Drive, Obama was asked if he planned to support the mayor or if the corruption probes involving City Hall might have given him pause.
