Description | We just received a press release from Drew Pritt announcing his candidacy for lieutenant governor.
You may recognize the name. He often leaves comments on this blog.
Pritt, 30, is a Democrat from Warren. He calls himself a political strategist who has worked for Wesley Clark's presidential campaign and a Wisconsin congressional candidate.
He says he will formally announce his candidacy on Pat Lynch's radio show tomorrow (Monday) and hold a kickoff event in Bradley County in September. He also promises a campaign website soon at drewpritt.com.
Pritt will face former state Rep. Mike Hathorn and state Sen. Tim Wooldridge in the Democratic primary. State Rep. Jay Martin is also considering joining the race. |
